2009 Allyson Todd Memorial Golf Tournament
I am pleased to provide you with information on our upcoming 2009 Golf Tournament. This year will mark the sixth year we have run our annual tournament. The tournament will be played at Ravenwood Country Club in Hermitage on Saturday June 27th at 1:00 pm. It will be a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start. We are expecting around 60 to 80 players this year. Player fees will be $100 per person, or $360 for a pre-paid team. Dinner and beverages will be supplied as in previous years. Prizes, trophies and giveaways will be included.
The focus of this year's Tournament will be that of last year.
In January of 2008, we lost one of our favorite supporters, Allyson Todd, to breast cancer; she was just 53. In Allyson's memory, we re-named our tournament in her honor. And as part of our commitment to the Nashville Community, we will be donating the majority of the proceeds from the tournament to Allyson's favorite charities, they are:
- The Susan G. Koman Foundation for Breast Cancer
- The Nashville Humane Society
- Alive Hospice
- Tennessee Medical Foundation
